NZ On Air continue digital funding

NZ On Air, the government funding board for locally-made content, released its funding decisions for October on Friday.

This includes announcements for the Kickstart Digital Media Fund, giving projects Jiwi’s Machines and Wild eyes. These projects are made for school-age children.

The Ignite Digital Media fund for small innovate and interactive projects will support five projects, including 12 Huia Birds, The Lumiere Reader, Yours TV, Nia’s Extraordinary Life and The Barefoot Bandits.

Yours TV editor Damian Christie says he is excited about the announcement, expressing on Twitter that it will be “a colab between my student media site @yoursnetnz and TVNZ On Demand!”
