Egyptian authorities have freed Al Jazeera journalist Peter Greste, who has been in a Cairo prison for 400 days.
Australian foreign minister Julie Bishop said that Greste had arrived in Cyprus and was desperate to return to his native Australia.
Two other Al Jazeera journalists, Baher Mohamed, a producer and the Cairo bureau chief Mohamed Fahmy still remain in prison in Cairo.
