The cause of a fatal crash that killed a woman from Whangaparaoa on January 15 is still unknown.
Coral Jobsis, 23, tragically lost her life after a two-car head-on collision at 5:30 am while on her way to work. She was the sole occupant in her car.
A 26-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman who were in the car travelling in the opposite direction have since been released from Auckland hospital.
Police are on the hunt for a motorcyclist who was near the scene at the time of the accident, and may have seen what happened. Reports say the motorcyclist had stopped and spoken to road workers who were painting lines further up Whangaparaoa Road.
Family and friends have decided not to speak to the media but have since created a remembrance page for Jobsis.
