Hark the bells, there is a new princess!
The newest Royal baby, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, was born on May 2.
Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton followed in the family tradition by having her second baby at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London. Princess Diana gave birth to both of her sons at the same hospital.
The baby’s name is full of family history – Charlotte is the feminine form for Charles, William’s father’s name, and it is also Kate’s sister’s middle name.
Elizabeth is the Queen’s name, and also Kate’s and her mother’s middle names.
Newsbeat journalist Laura Barker took to the streets of Auckland to ask: What do you think of the royal baby name?
