Prince Phillip, the 94-year-old husband of Queen Elizabeth, has made international headlines after being caught swearing at a photographer.
The seemingly impatient Duke of Edinburgh asked a photographer to “just take the f*****g picture” during a photo opportunity at the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
The Duke, who was joined by his son Prince Edward, were waiting with former pilots at a pre-lunch reception when the incident occurred.
Not only were his words caught on camera, but so was the reaction from his grandson Prince William, another guest at the event that took place in Central London on July 10.
It isn’t the first time the outspoken royal has found himself in hot water over his choice of words either. The Prince is infamous for speaking his mind and in 2002, he asked Aborigines if they still throw spears at each other, and was even quoted asking a Kenyan dancer: ‘You are a woman, aren’t you?’
Buckingham Palace has declined to comment.
