Serena Williams must have been exhausted at her press conference during the US Open.

Williams was answering questions, but she looked weary, flat and wasn’t smiling.

The world’s number one ranked singles tennis player had just won over her sister Venus Williams in the quarterfinals.

After answering several questions, she served up some sass to the courageous journalist who asked about her obvious lackluster.

“You just won a match. Normally you smile when you win. You come in here, you laugh,” he said. “What happens tonight? Is it because you beat Venus or because you’re thinking about what is going on next? What’s wrong?”

Williams replied: “To be perfectly honest with you, I don’t want to be here. I just want to be in bed right now and I have to wake up early to practice.

“I don’t want to answer any of these questions, and you guys keep asking me the same questions. It’s not really … you’re not making it super enjoyable.”

She added: “Just being honest.”

Things didn’t improve for her after she was defeated in the semi-finals by Italy’s Roberta Vinci on the September 11.

Rap superstar Drake was spotted supporting Williams at the US Open games. The pair has been dating on and off since 2011.

Williams appeared to be in a better mood when the duo was seen together on Tuesday night.

The tennis pro hosted a fashion show at New York Fashion Week. Her clothing line was apparently impressive, reaping in praise from various newspapers, including The Daily Beast, USA Today and The Daily Mail.
