95bFM’s Breakfast Club comes to an end

Student radio station 95bFM, formally known as ‘Radio Bosom’, has announced the last ever ‘Breakfast Club’ to be held at Real Groovy, Queen Street.

On the last Friday of each month Max & Vince carry the bFM studio down to Queen Street to broadcast their whole show inside the record store. They call it the ‘Breakfast Club’.

A little over a week ago, student bFM announced that Friday 30th October will be the last ever ‘Breakfast Club’ that will be held at Real Groovy.

The Breakfast Club has been broadcast from 438 Queen Street since January this year and has been a great opportunity for local bands to perform live in one of New Zealand’s most iconic music stores.

Bands just need to be prepared for an early start.

With the show starting at 6 am and finishing at 9 am, there will be free coffee for bCard holders and there will be two performances throughout the morning.

Three-piece band Street Chant is up first at 8:15 am, and neo-soul artist Bailey Wiley at 8:40 am.
