‘Hello’ Adele, welcome back

After a three-year hiatus, she is back.

Adele’s long-awaited return came to fruition last week with the release of her new single Hello.

During the ad break for last week’s UK X Factor, the screen went black for white lyrics, while 30 seconds of a brand new Adele song played. There were no dates, no title, and no other information.

Fans across the world went silly with anticipation.

An anxious Adele premiered her new single on BBC Radio 1 breakfast show with Nick Grimshaw last week.

The six-time Grammy-award winner hasn’t serenaded the world since her last single, the Oscar-winning Bond theme Skyfall in 2012. Her previous album, 21, was released in 2011 and went on to become the biggest-selling record of the 21st Century.

The singer’s hit ballad Someone Like You resonated with million’s worldwide and lead 21 to sell more than 30 million copies worldwide.

“It’s phenomenal what happened with that – but it is a phenomenon. I can’t really include it in any expectations of anything I ever do again,” Adele told Grimshaw.

The new album 25 has now been scheduled for release on November 20.

25 is about getting to know who I’ve become without realizing,” the singer says of the upcoming release.

The track list for 25 has been released, which you can see right here:

2. Send My Love (To Your New Lover)
3. I Miss You
4. When We Were Young
5. Remedy
6. Water Under The Bridge
7. River Lea
8. Love In The Dark
9. Million Years Ago
10. All I Ask
11. Sweetest Devotion

A deluxe version of the album will be available for purchase, which will include three extra songs, Can’t Let Go, Lay Me Down and Why Do You Love Me.

The video for Hello was shot in the countryside surrounding Montreal and is directed by a young Canadian director, Xavier Dolan.

Sophisticated and elegant as ever, Adele is hypnotising in Hello.
