Katy Perry has teamed up with Swedish clothing shop H&M to create a Christmas cracker of a tune.
The new Christmas single, Every Day Is A Holiday, was co-written by Perry and produced by Duke Dumont, and will feature in the clothing company’s festive advertising campaign.
In the H&M commercial, which you can check out below, the pop princess is the hostess of a magnificent, magical Christmas party that takes place in an all-white set. There are elves dancing, kids getting presents and people looking very merry.
The I Kissed A Girl star is said to embrace the Christmas spirit and this year intends on spending as much time with her family as possible.
“We just go on vacation. We have a chef. We just eat, drink and pass out,” says Perry.
“We are all grown up and there’s something really nostalgic about all the kids getting under the same roof, so it’s like we are teenagers again in a way. That’s the best feeling.”
Perry has a lot to be thankful for this year as her hit Prismatic World Tour wrapped up on October 18 after performing 151 shows.
New Zealand is set to welcome its first H&M store in late 2016 in Silvia Park, Auckland.
