This week the World Boxing Organisation announced the fight between Joseph Parker and Mexican boxer Andy Ruiz for the vacant WBO belt. The bout is set to take place in Auckland, on December 10.
However, there has been controversy as to who exactly will pay for it. Economic Development Minister Steven Joyce has confirmed the Government are currently borderline regarding funding the bout.
