You can cook this Chinese style soy garlic chicken just in twenty minutes.
1 chicken breast or 6-7 pieces of chicken nibbles/wings
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon of ginger paste
3-4 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
1 onion chopped
Pinch of red chilli powder (optional) or Tabasco chilli sauce
1 red-green capsicum chopped (Optional)
Procedure: Mix the ginger-garlic paste and soy sauce into the chicken wings or chopped chicken breast. If you wish, leave it to marinate.
In a pan add oil and the chopped onions, fry it till golden brown. Add the marinated chicken into the pan and add half cup water if you wish it to be soupy. Cook it for 10 minutes and bring it to the boil.
Add the chopped capsicum (peppers) at the end and add salt according to your taste as soy itself is salty.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
