The Oro 17 Music Festival burst onto the scene unexpectedly in early February, announcing the imminent arrival of British electronic dance pioneers Underworld.

This morning more international acts were added to the lineup, including a DJ set from Phil Hartnoll (one-half of seminal UK electro act Orbital) Dave Seaman, Koven, Feint, and rappers Jeru the Damaja and Evil Needle.

Local acts Soccer Practice, Greg Churchill, and DJ Dubhead rounded out the announcement.

The festival is set to take over Auckland’s iconic Woodhill Forest on Saturday, April 8.

Early bird tickets, including a free bus pass to and from the festival, are on sale now from Ticketmaster.com.

Promoters have promised a set of at least 90 minutes from Underworld, featuring their full lighting and stage show.
