Three decades have gone by since ABBA called it quits, but ABBA impersonators continue to be popular, introducing their music to a new generation of listeners.

Internationally acclaimed ABBA impersonators ABBAsolutely faBBalous ventured over from Australia to perform for eager fans at North Shore’s Bruce Mason Center.

The group has been together since 2011, performing more than 5000 shows internationally.

The show is a full-scale theatrical production featuring over two hours of live musical performances, with a live backing band.

The performers donned authentic ABBA replica costumes which combined with the theatrical lighting and effects created an electric atmosphere for the crowd to get their groove on.

Famous ABBA songs like Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Chiquitita, Fernando, Gimme Gimme and Thank you for the Music were the highlights of the show.

Some fanatic fans even shouted out requests which fell on deaf ears.

Overall the show provided a great night of dancing with my daughter and my friend’s daughters. Ensuring a new generation of ABBA fans is in the making.
