Kiwi League Star Arrested For Drug Possession

Sydney Roosters and Kiwis international league player Shaun Kenny-Dowall has been charged with drug possession.

The twenty-nine-year-old was arrested outside Sydney night-club, Ivy, after being caught by police in possession of .46 grams of cocaine, at around 1 am this morning.

A police spokeswoman said the Roosters star has been “issued with field court attendance notice for possessing prohibited drugs and he’s expected to appear before the Downing Centre Local Court on June 21”.

The charges come after being acquitted of domestic violence against his former girlfriend, Jessica Peris last year.

Kenny-Dowall was not named in the Kiwis side to take on Australia in tonight’s ANZAC test in Canberra.
