Confectionery maker Pascall has put an interesting combination together: Mixing two Kiwi favourites and creating Jaffa Lumps.
The mix up of the two has been described as an “orange-flavoured sensation” by the company which is owned by Cadbury. Pascall spokesperson Rohin Rosman says the business has been focused on creating new products to satisfy it’s Kiwi consumers.
“We’re so excited to have taken the leap and combined these two amazing products which we think work really well together,” Rosman says.
With Dunedin’s Cadbury factory closing next year and moving the remaining production of its products to Australia, the manufacturing future of both Pineapple Lumps and Jaffas has been left in question.
Cadbury is hoping to find a local manufacturer here in New Zealand to take on a number of its products.
