The government plans to have New Zealand smoke-free by 2025. A set goal of their’s is to have under 5% of the population smoking by 2025.
In order to do this they have come to the conclusion that they must:
- protect children from exposure to tobacco promotion and marketing.
- reduce the supply and demand of tobacco.
- provide the best possible support for smokers trying to quit.
